Minimum Requirements:

Essential:

 

·         Technical Trade and Mechanical Engineering Diploma or Degree

·         Sales and Marketing qualification

·         5-10 years Technical and Sales experience

·         Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

·         Must have 5-10 years management experience or supervision of staff within a Managerial role

 

Desirable:

 

·         Engineering degree or diploma

·         Be based in Secunda

·         Sealing product range knowledge (Seals and Compensators etc)

·         Syspro and Navision Software exposure

·         Experience in managing at branch level

·         Must be Sales Driven

Key Performance Areas

 

·         Customer liaison- ability to understand the clients needs and provide solutions

·         Promoting and sealing solution products in the Secunda and surrounding areas

·         Identify and grow potential new key accounts and drive new business ventures

·         Ability to negotiate and draw up quotations

·         Implement and oversee supply agreement contracts

·         Ability to build sustainable relationships and provide others with clear direction

·         Implement and monitor consignment stock agreements where applicable

·         Basic project management of large orders from initial purchase order through to delivery

·         Manage Secunda Sales office, stock, staff and growing the sales turn-over and contribution

·         Manage branch stock and consignment stock

·         Drive and manage key accounts

·         Solution driven with very strong selling skills

·         Management of Secunda branch staff

·         Managing staff performance, building high level of team work and trust based on company values

·         Prepare and implement branch sales strategy

·         Prepare budgets and reports

·         Manage contribution and increase on sales turnovers

·         Market intelligence and research

·         Any other tasks specified in pursuance of the company’s objectives

 

Remuneration

 

Market related depending on qualification and experience.
