Synopsis: PABX Business Development Manager Midrand CTC's could range from R700k to R900k per annum depending on the level of experience and extent of the track record. Permanent
Minimum Requirements:

Our client, a leader in network architecture, is seeking to employ a Senior Network Sales Engineer.

Requirements:







• To identify and target selective commercial market sector prospective customers.







• Increase new business by 15% of the previous year's revenue







• To drive sales of all solutions and services into new targeted accounts in the commercial space and capturing the maximum coverage within the account.







• Identify sales and services opportunities within targeted new accounts for IP based Telephony and network infrastructure, IP Video Surveillance, IP Video Conferencing, Data Management, Bandwidth Optimization, Microsoft Services and Virtualization solutions.







• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and position as the vendor of choice in our chosen focus areas.







• Accurate pipeline management and weekly/monthly/quarterly forecasting according to the defined pipeline management processes.







• Understand and negate competitor activities - vendors and resellers.







• Understand the needs and expectations of customer base.







• Develop and implement comprehensive account plans to deliver on customer needs/ expectations and targets.







Experience:







• At least 6 - 10 years end-user New Business sales experience, preferably across multiple industry sectors.







• An in-depth understanding of PABX, IP Telephony, Networking Infrastructure and/or Data Centre solutions.







• Experience in selling to the SA mid-market and upper mid-market commercial customers.







• Will preferably have worked for a Reseller or Vendor but could come from the channel or distribution market.







Proven successful track record of New Business Development target achievement.

Qualifications:







• Minimum qualification of Matric is required. Preference will be given to a Graduate or Diploma level qualification in Commerce, Marketing or Technology fields.
